  1. He is primarily known for his 1923 book The Prophet, an early example of inspirational fiction including a series of philosophical essays written in poetic English prose. It gained popularity in the 1930s and again in the 1960s counterculture. He is considered the third best-selling poet of all time, right behind Shakespeare and Laozi.

    • Thank you for dropping by. I know, isn’t that a great quote. Khalil Gibran had a great thought about life. That would be one quote I would like to remember everyday upon awakening, especially since none of us know what a new day holds.
