How About You?

IF YOU COULD TURN BACK

THE CLOCK OF TIME

WOULD YOUR CHOICES BE DIFFERENT

OR MUCH THE SAME AS MINE.

LIKE SPEND TIME WITH THOSE YOU LOVE

SEE THE BEAUTY SURROUNDING YOU

EYING THE SHAPES IN CLOUDS ABOVE

SMELL THE FLOWERS AND NATURES DEW.

GOING FORWARD AS OF TODAY

LET’S REORDER OUR PRIORITY

TO APPRECIATE ALONG THE WAY

THE BEAUTY OF THE SUPREME AUTHORITY.

Me25 Last year after writing this, I made a concerted effort to look at my priorities. In so doing, I determined I should make some changes. These changes should be in the form of freeing up some time for me to spend with my family, to give them a little more of myself. It also included freeing up some time to go outdoors, and appreciate the bounty of beauty our Creator so generously bestowed on us.

It also occurred to me I needed to take better care of me–get more rest, exercise, eat healthy-all in all give some time to just pampering me.

I am sorry to report, I still haven’t done these things. I get wrapped up in my writing and before I realize it, my day is gone. I haven’t given up, I am still going to work toward these things. If I can achieve just one a month, that would be great.

After all, I only have this one life, it won’t be a do-over! How about you, how are your priorities? Taking care of yourself? Appreciating the out-of-doors?
