Fourth Secret to Beauty

david hume    David Hume was  a  Scottish   philosopher, historian, economist and essayist in the 1700’s. But his words are as potent today as they were then.  He said, “Beauty in things exists in the mind which contemplates them”.

What do you keep your mind on? What do you feed your mind? What do you listen to? What do you read? I’m not being nosy. I am asking you these questions in order to say they are important. Just like what we feed our bodies is important for our health so is what we do with the mind.

If you want to have beauty, then you have to be careful to feel your mind with good things. You have to listen to good things and watch good things. I don’t need to explain what is good and what isn’t. We all know what is good for us and what is bad. There was a saying…Garbage in, garbage out.

The fourth secret to beauty if feeling our minds with what is good.
