Wishing of Peace

220px-Joseph_Auslander_wth_pipe Joseph Auslander, wrote “Dear Lord; we beg but one boon more: Peace in the hearts of all men living, peace in the whole world this Thanksgiving.” He
was an American poet, anthologist, translator of poems, and novelist. Auslander was appointed the first Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress from 1937 and 1941.

He comprehended how important it is for all people to have peace in their hearts. Man thinks about peace in the world, maybe no more wars…but seldom things about having peace in their hearts.

Peace starts within and works its way out.
