Making Memories

Autumn Leaves “When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers,‘tis near Halloween.”~Author Unknown

Parents, today is the day to make sure you have those costumes for your kids. Kiddies everywhere want to dress up and go trick or treating. Make sure you don’t disappoint them. The boys for sure will want to be the newest heroes they’ve seen on TV. And the little girls will want to make sure they have the attire meant for a princess or queen.

Every year, as the children come to our house bringing their pumpkin holders and sacks asking for candy, I am always amazed at the many costumes and how adorable each one is. They are filled with glee as they hold out their container, because they know you are going to give them candy. What I like most are the smiles on their faces as they stand in front of us.

So parents, don’t disappoint your child this Halloween. Dress them up, take them by the hand and go out have fun with them. They are only this young for a short time. Make memories.

  1. I always loved Halloween as a child. I loved being outside at night most of all.
