Fall is for Family.

Susan and kids1 There is something magical about fall. Leaves are turning. Colors of red, maroon, gold, lime, rust, and olives burst upon the scene along with a coolness that soon turns crisp in the morning air. This time of year is when families come together and take weekend trips to see the beautiful changes of colors. Families gather on weekends to watch their favorite football teams play. Soon it will be time for families to gather for their Thanksgiving meals and then to share Christmas.

Thomas Jefferson said, “The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family.”

For those who are away from their families this time of year, let us remember them in our prayers as well as their families.
