What is your take?

deer on the golf course “We know that in September, we will wander through the warm winds of summer’s wreckage. We will welcome summer’s ghost,” a quote by Henry Rollins

To be truthful, I often wondered what Henry Rollins was saying…”wander through the warm winds of summer’s wreckage.” I never looked at my summers as being one in which there was wreckage. Summers have come and gone and I’ve always enjoyed them yet was always ready for fall, since it is my favorite time of year.

How about you? What do you think he meant?
