Are you there yet? Will you be totally with them?

geoffrey family Here we are at Thursday already. I don’t know about you, but the week has flown by.

To me, Thursday is the day I use to go over my work for the week and evaluate if I have completed all that was on my agenda. I don’t like waiting until Friday to do that. I’m not a last-minute type of gal. I won’t to make sure each project has been handled and nothing fell through the cracks.

Perhaps, we should use Thursday to check and see where we stand on a personal level. In other words, sort of go over where we are in our lives this week, making sure we are using the talents we have. That we aren’t wasting valuable time on things that aren’t important in the scheme of things. Maybe we should also check to make sure we have been to others what we wanted them to be to us. If there are things lacking, Thursday gives us time to make the necessary corrections to make sure we are on the right track for the week.

Waiting until Friday to check this can leave you rushing around and leaving on Friday with many things up in the air, not finished. Then all weekend these things will be popping in and out of your head, some even to the point of interfering with your time to be with your family.
We want our weekends to be clear of the weeks ins and outs…because our weekends belong to our families. They need our attention and we need theirs and we need the time to regroup inside our heads.
