What is Monday to you?

Aubrey 1Monday–the first day of our work week. When I first started working I would arrive at work and hear all sorts of negative words concerning Monday. It seemed like most everyone was sorry that day had come.

I’m sure there are many reasons not to like a certain day, but I never understood why Monday was so bad for everyone.

To me, Monday is the beginning of a new week. It’s like having a new canvas, and for five whole days you get to create a better you, do a better job, be nicer than before, be more helpful and you get to experience all new surprises hidden among each day. Yes, to me. Mondays are new beginnings!

How about you? Are your Mondays a new beginning or just an extension added on to last week?

  1. That’s a fantastic way to put it Jeuron, a clean slate. Thanks for your comment, have a wonderful new beginning today.

  2. Jeuron says:

Mondays have traditionally been the worst day of the work week, but now I will begin to look at them with a bit more optimism. It’s a day to start a clean slate and I should be grateful for it.
