If I counted to three?

aubryanah sitting on curb With children counting to three may mean you are playing ‘hide-n-seek’. You will hear their giggles as they run off to hide, you will notice their hiding is never totally out of sight.

As adults, what is going on when we are counting to three? Sometimes it may be that last-minute deep breath before entering on stage to give a speech. Then again, could be just before you walk into a hospital room or perhaps a meeting.

Somehow, our counting to our three’s stays with us even on into adulthood. Perhaps it is caused by a little fear in what we think is to come when we enter into certain situations.

I wonder if we ever get to a point we don’t feel fear of some kind? Do you suppose that feeling will stay until the end?
