A Time that was Carefree and Fun.

Sarah's pictures415 Remember when you were in junior high and your friends would get together? Perhaps it was for a birthday, like this picture– with four friends. Wish I had more pictures to see all the other kids that were there, but somewhere along the line they got lost. The pictures, that is.  I’m not sure if we were in the eight grade or ninth but I do remember we were having a lot of fun. Listening to the “45” records playing on the record player. This  was such a long time ago. I am guessing we were 13 years old here.  That was over 50 years ago. The four of us were such great friends. Life seemed so carefree…no worries.

Many times I have visited different parts of the past when I was a kid, and most of them were wonderful times. It’s like looking at a scene in a movie. You can bring it to the forefront of your memory, but only for a while, then it fades back into the past.

All these scenes throughout our lives have helped mold us into the people we are. I am grateful I had such a wonderful group of friends, teachers, and family who left an indelible memory of love, life and laughter.

Do you have one in particular that stands out for you?
