Did you see this news item? John Dodds, Washington, D.C. Man, Reunites 90-Year-Old WWII Vet With Bomber Jacket. The writer in me instantly thought this would make a great short story. But after reading the story again, I was struck as to the effort the man went to. How generous he was to purchase the jacket, track down the person and return their jacket.
Maybe if each one of us made a point each day to do something nice for someone we come across, we would be able to help our corner of the world be better, even if it is only a kind word.
What do you think? Would it help?
