Did you win?

derbyMay is a month of many celebrations. One in particular is the Kentucky Derby.

Yesterday, on a rained soaked muddy track, Orb won the 139th Kentucky Derby horse race. It was also the trainer, Shug McGaughey’s, first victory in the Triple Crown’s opening race. Both the horse and the trainer showed they had the hearts of a winner.

The horse because he had to maneuver his way trough  a tight pack of horses at high-speed in the mud without faltering and Shug McGaughey for the perseverance of continuing to train horses to win the Kentucky Derby. Yesterday it happened for him. He was the trainer for Orb, and Orb won the Kentucky Derby.

In life it seems we have wins and we have losses, but if we keep pushing, and persevering we can end up winners.
