What is your adventure?

DSC02969Remember when we were in school, you would find yourself staring out the window. Daydreaming! At some point all kids get that far away look in their eyes. You could always tell if our look was one of wishing school was out or if we were dreaming of flying to the moon, walking down a runway or just plain sitting on the bank, with your bare feet kicking the water around. That is so normal for kids.

But what about us as adults. Do we still daydream? Or are we set in concrete now because we are older. What happened to that kid inside all of us. Sure we grew up, but somewhere there is supposed to be that kid inside that still likes the wind blowing their hair as they run across a field pretending to fly–or daydreaming of places far away.

We were so anxious to hurry up and grow up and get out of school…I’m not really sure we had any inkling as to why or what we were going to find once we grew up. I wonder how many of us, would like to have one of those days back, if only for just awhile. It is a little sad when you think how many days may have passed without us fully taking advantage of them.

I hope I don’t let days go by now without taking advantage of them…using them to the fullest.

Let it not be said because they aged they forgot life was an adventure.

What will your adventure be?
