Isn’t it funny how fear can strike at the most inopportune times? Your parents put you to bed, turn out your light and before they can get out the door you just know there are monsters lurking in your closet. Unfortunately fears don’t just strike when we are young. They continue to pop up throughout our lives. For the most part we can all deal with the fears and rationalize why they are silly but sometimes, just sometimes, there will be one tiny little fear that seems to remain in the recesses of our minds and that is the one that will pop up when you least expect it.
President Franklin Roosevelt stated a quote that Francis Bacon wrote: “We have nothing to fear but fear itself”. So when that tiny fear pops up I begin my rationalizing by using that quote. What do you do?
