IS IT REALLY FAILURE?

I can’t remember how many times or how many years I  heard the expression – failure is only when you don’t try. I also am not certain when I realized it was true. As long as we keep trying we are not failing, we are just seeing all the ways it doesn’t work. If we keep trying eventually it will work.

I have to go one step further because I believe our mind-set has something to do with it. I believe we can sabotage ourselves with our mind or we can propel ourselves forward with our mind.  Choice is ours.

Another thing we can do is learn what doesn’t work and bring something away from that experience that will help us with the next try. This way we won’t make the same mistake  we made before.

When asked about the light bulb Mr. Edison said:  ” I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.” – Thomas Edison

Benjamin Franklin said:  “Do not fear mistakes. You will know failure. Continue to reach out.”

We can achieve but it takes work, perseverance and determination. We also need patience with ourselves. Yes we will miss the mark sometimes, but it should not keep us from trying again until we succeed.
