3 Ways to Out Sell Your Peers

Image  Remember when you were a kid? Did you ever ask why you had two ears and only one mouth? No probably not. We usually don’t give those things much thought.

But our two ears and one mouth is a magnificent gift. You see it was given to us to help us in all our endeavors throughout our lives. In making friends, building relationships, in our work.  Used the right way success is assured.

Here are 3 ways to out sell, out market your peers and to build relationships.

1. Listen more than talk. People love to talk. Encourage them to talk to you, ask questions about them. What they like, who they are. If you are going to do business with some one you should get to know them.

2. Learn from the information they give you. You will find out so many things that are valuable to you whether this is a business or personal relationship. And if this is a business relationship you are building you will learn exactly what they want you to sell them and how they want to be sold.

3. Concentrate on what they are saying. They are opening up to you and giving you this information that is important in building relationships with them. Don’t just scan the conversation waiting for your time to talk or spend this time thinking about what you are going to say. Listen and Learn.

These will work whether you are working on getting to know your date, marketing a product or your novel you just published or whether you are interviewing for a job or trying to recruit a client.
