CHOOSING FRIENDS

George WashingtonGeorge Washington, our first President said, “Associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it is better to be alone than in bad company.”

  1. I too heard those words from my mom growing up. I also heard, “If you lie down with dogs you get up smelling like dogs”. So my girls heard these sayings all through their growing up years.
    Thanks for your comment.

  2. My mom used to say, “You are the company you keep.” So true. I now tell my daughter the same thing. 🙂
