On the contrary, if you falter, and give up, you will lose the power of keeping any resolution, and will regret it all your life.” This was written on June 28, 1862 Letter to Quintin Campbell.

He was right, if you are persistent and stay on course you will succeed if you give up you will regret it all your life.
